S. Congress, which impacts the business model of the Massachusetts Alcohol Industry. Further, to propose bills for filing in the Massachusetts Legislature which promote the business model of off-premise licensees and to provide for the continuation of the retail segment of the Massachusetts Alcohol Industry into the future. The Committee works in concert with the Association Political Lobbyist as well as the Political Media Relations firm. Members: Richard Hurley Ben Weiner Joe Saia Tom Williams Jason Lee Technology - Chair Jason Lee DescriptionMISSION:The mission of the Technology Committee shall be to guide the association in the implementation and utilization of new technologies to provide greater service to its members and the public. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
The Technology Committee recognizes computer-based technology as a significant medium for information storage and retrieval, data analysis, research and communication. We expect technology to become an inseparable part of the Association and believe it is imperative that technology be used as an enabling force, directly complementing the objective of the Association. We envision a technologically unified Association that will grow stronger in its membership and leadership.
The Committee will meet periodically as necessary to act upon any matter within its jurisdiction. A majority of the total number of members of the Committee shall constitute a quorum at all Committee meetings. All meetings shall be held subject to and in accordance with the Association's Bylaws (including without limitation notice, quorum and votes/actions of the committee.)
