MASSPACK now offers an online beverage alcohol education and certification option that is on-demand. The new www.BATbyMASSPACK.org version of the highly acclaimed BAT education and certification program by MASSPACK is LIVE and ready for off-premises licensees, managers, and employees to use for meeting their server training requirements in Massachusetts communities. 

For decades, MASSPACK has provided off-premises server training to the industry. BAT by MASSPACK is now available on demand as an online self-education and certification tool. Unlike generic training programs, www.BATbyMASSPACK.org provides a online line training course tailored to address the many compliance issues under Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 138. Based on feedback from the ABCC, police departments, state legislators, prevention groups, and local licensing authorities, MASSPACK has produced a self paced course giving retailers the tools needed to prevent illegal sales and protect their business.

BAT by MASSPACK is the premiere education and certification course for off-premises retail of alcoholic beverages in Massachusetts. Whether taken in-person, or virtually live, or on-demand, participants learn what the law requires. They will understand which forms of ID they can legally rely upon and how to reduce their exposure to risk. BAT by MASSPACK covers everything from detecting fake IDs to preventing second-party sales. There are even sections about how to conduct tastings at the store and safe home delivery of alcohol beverages. The course additionally addresses issues like THC-Hemp products, flavored tobacco and situations where customers are wearing masks. Upon successful completion, participants receive a three-year certification recognized by cities and towns throughout Massachusetts.
